It is time to leave the battlefield and settle in the beautiful salon of the Drama and Puppet Theatre "Ivan Radoev". Pleven theatre is one of the oldest professional theatres in Bulgaria. The theatre was established through a civil assembly in 1918 and its first premiere took place in 1919. Over the years, the building has housed Chitalishte "Saglasie 1869", as well as the city hall.

The repertoire of Drama and Puppet Theatre "Ivan Radoev" includes traditional theatrical performances, experimental productions, various performing forms, bringing together different types of arts. The drama and puppet department of the theatre do not exist independently, but represent one troupe, which provides more opportunities to create a variety of performances.
