On the Samovodska Charshia is the architectural masterpiece of the Renaissance - Hadji Nikoli Inn. The building is a former inn, built in 1858 at the request of the Tarnovo merchant Hadji Nikoli Minchoolu, who participated in the struggle for an independent Bulgarian church. The building was designed and built by a famous Renaissance builder, architect and sculptor - Maystor Kolyo Ficheto. The master built a large and magnificent building, compared to a Venetian palace. He is the only surviving inn of all, built and existed in Tarnovo over the years. In 2010 the inn was restored and opened as a public building. The same year, the inn won the special jury award in the national competition "Building of the Year" for investment in the preservation of cultural and historical heritage and the "Award of the Audience". Today the complex offers its visitors a restaurant, a wine bar, a museum with exhibition halls and an art gallery. Valuable exhibits from Bulgarian history and the best examples of Bulgarian painting in the form of visiting museum expositions and exhibitions find place in the exhibition halls. The inn has its own collection of paintings.
